5 Emotionally Drained Yet Hopelessly Optimistic Stars
Bink Cummings is an author who I have followed since her first novel. I have loved her MC Diaries and her jump into M/M but this this series right here is in a whole new league of its own.
This yes is a MC book but yet it is so much more! Here we see the author focusing on the character's strength and weaknesses with the MC life as the backdrop. Bink, in this series has been able to pull out some many emotions in the story. She has found a way for the reader for feel 100% everything the main character is going through. You feel her highs, her lows ,her struggles and her accomplishments.
Here we have a story of Kat. She is a single mom who is trying just to keep her daughter's life happy and content. Her girls are her life. Yet everything seems fine on the outside, there are lingering questions that Kat has about the people in her life and those that are not in her life anymore. She is struggling for answers to events that happened to her as a child and how to comprehend the after effects as an adult and learn from those events and decisions that were taken away from her.
There are so many wow factors and twists and tuner in this book. Once you start it is hard to put the book down. But the best thing is you see the strength this woman, Kat has! So much is thrown at her yet she still finds away to find the positive and move on!
This book has hooked me so much that I am so excited for the next to see how the rest of the pieces are put in place.
