OMFG OMFG AL Jackson has seriously out done herself here.
Have been a fan of her's ever since I read the Take this Regret series. and I promise you every book since then has gotten better and better!!
OK from here on out please not this book is #3 in a series!!!! You do not have to have read books 1 and 2 but I highly recommend you do before attempting this book.
Books 1 and 2 are about Shea and Baz, where Baz is the lead singer of Sunder. This series is The Bleeding Stars Series and it is all about the band members. As I have stated many times AL (Amy) Jackson is the Queen of Heart Break!!!!!!!!!!!
This woman's talents never ceases to amaze me!
In this next book we are intro diced to Lyrick West is lead guitarist for Sunder. Your stereo typical tattooed bad boy. He is your typical rock star man whore, who usually has 2 women on her arms at the end of each night.
Tamar King, is the hot mother take no prisoners, bartender that catches Lyrick's attention. AS the official synopsis states "Their attraction is consuming. Their desire overpowering. With one touch, they ignite.
But is it worth the cost of getting burned?"
Oh Holy Hell do they ever ignite and get under each tower's skin. This cat and mount game that they play will if not careful burn them both.
Of course in every AL book, what is at the surface of each of her characters, is no where near the actual root or cause of how they guard themselves to the outside world. Butter appearances hide the true deep down secrets they hide.
Amy had me crying not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES in the book. only 3 different occasions she litterely gutted me with what they two have to go through. BUT!!!! DAMN!!!! The despair, sadness and utter strength and character development is completely admirable!
Tamar ignores for months the forward advances that Lyrick drops every chance he gets. Tamar will not succumb to his philandering ways. Will lyrics be able to break Tamar's steal walls and reach in and find an actual being heart beneath her rough exterior. This love story I hate to admit surpasses Baz and Shea leaps and bounds.
THIS IS ANOTHER MUST READ BY AL JACKSON!!!
