5 More than Words Stars
WOW is all I have to say to begin this review. This book was such a different story and tone from her MC Chronicle series.
Here we have two main characters who have be dealt a hard life and things have never gone their way. Time after time things are thrown in their way.
Magdalene Murdock was not born with a silver spoon, life was tough and ugly for her. Losing her grandmother, being abandoned by her mom, and losing the love of her life have hit her hard yet Mags tries hard to not let everyone know the load she carries on the inside.
Lachlan is a different bread of a man! He is a firefighter, a member of a MC, and a Scottish man who is not afraid to ware a kilt! Lachlan is not big on conversation. Yet under all his strong brute force lies a very insecure man.
Mags is recued by Lachlan, this is how their story begins. As the story progresses layer are slow exposed and you begin to see how Mags and Lachlan form an odd friendship. Both are intrigued with each other. A beautiful attraction begins yet neither will admit how they feel about each other.
Like the song from Extreme "More than Words" Mags and Lachlan's action show each other how they feel about each other. A simple action "and just reach out your hand and touch me, hold me close don't ever let me go." A simple touch between these two can go a long way. Together Beyond her Words they can heal each other and find a love worth living for.
Author Bink Cummings was born and raised part of an MC family. Upon the incessant coercion from her sacred sisters, she has begun her newest journey in life--writing. When she's not shacked up in her home, writing at all hours of the night, Bink enjoys riding motorcycles, taking care of her extensive roughneck family, and cooking huge meals. Especially her infamous chocolate chip cookies.
