4 Love Sees no Gender Stars
This book is what I would categories as a Gay for You story. Now before everyone jumps on to their own conclusions about this kind of story just stop and listen. While reading this story I feel in love with the characters they were each so different. First we have an Guy who is gay and in his late 30's he has been fortunate enough to make something of himself. He is a self made made that did at one time in his have a helping hand lend out to him to get him where he is today, a wealthy man. Guy is at a cross roads where he feels it is time to pay back what was graciously award to him and fins someone who could benefit from his help as he did as a young man.
Jaime is a straight young twenty something pre law school student who has hit ever possible speed bump life could offer in a life time all in one year. In a chance meeting between these two Guy decides that Jamie should be the benefactor of his pay back.
Now what I loved about this story was that this was not a insta love story and it was not a omg Jamie has to turn gay because Guy demands stuff as payback for his offer. No NO No! What you have here is a beautiful story of how two men who have great respect for one another learn to cohabited together. Along the way Jamie become interested in Guy's life and how he survived being married having children then devorcing and living a life as a gay man in a very committed relationship that ended a few years back. Guy never forces anything on Jamie he is nothing but open and honest. Jamie begins to see Guy in a different light. Jamie begins to questions things and himself.
Here is what I love about the story, Jamie learns to embrace his attraction to Guy, he learns from his best friend that love sees no gender. Attractions sometimes just happens and with the help of his friend Jamie decides to take a leap of faith and see where the card lie and what if meant for him in the big wide world.
K.C. Wells started writing in 2012, although the idea of writing a novel had been in her head since she was a child. But after reading that first gay romance in 2009, she was hooked.
She now writes full time, and the line of men in her head, clamouring to tell their story, is getting longer and longer. If the frequent visits by plot bunnies are anything to go by, that’s not about to change anytime soon.
