What I love about this story is it is not a retelling of His Master, no far far from it. In this book, you pick up a while later in the timeline and you get a glimpse of where Master Kellen and Michael are in life and the relationship. Of course, all is not perfect in their world, but what I love is Bink's brave leap into unchartered waters with these characters. It is true that these two have a unique relationship that does not work for everyone but is perfect for them. And Bink embraces their uniqueness and was not afraid to show her readers exactly how much they care for one another even if their actions are not what society deems as the norm! No, what these two need to help make their relationship more stable might make some of you uncomfortable if this was in your relationship. But this is where the beauty lies in this story. These characters are not like the mainstream of society and they fully understand and accept it. This difference does not make their love any different from anyone else. Boundaries must be pushed and lovers will be placed in uncomfortable situations but only to push and prove their undivided love and respect for one another.

What a unique and refreshingly different m/m dom/sub read!

Here we have what seems to on the surface as a young love story of a girl meets boy, girl falls for boy but in true E.k style all is not as it appears. E.k. takes the reader on a beautiful story of finding one's first true love. Adaline has just recently moved to Florida where she meets Kason.  Kason is a smart boy who tries not to stand out in the crowd he just wants to do well in school and have a chance to go to college. He never intended to fall in love along the way.  Ady and Kason's sparks fly from the beginning and the fall fast for one another. But remember the tag line in this story - what happens when one person loves beyond the craving and the other craves beyond the loving? There is something brewing something that could tear these two apart. What I truly loved about this story is that E.k. Blair hits on several subjects that readers do not normally see in books today. I for one never thought a teenager could be affected and afflicted by one of the issues in this story.  Emotions run high but love runs deep can these two make it past the cravings? Is there love for one another strong enough to handle the obstacles life throws at them?  This in my mind is the read of the summer on that will take your heart along for the ride and have you laugh and cry with characters.  Please please do not pass this story up!
